Principal and Dance Teacher

Miss Elizabeth found her love for dance at a very young age of 3 and has never stopped. She is trained in Classical Ballet, Modern Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Street Dance, Acro Dance & Commercial.

Through the years, Miss Elizabeth has gained graded examinations with RAD, ISTD, IDTA, NATD & BTDA up to Diploma level. Miss Elizabeth studied at Stageworks Studios and Leicester College of Performing Arts gaining a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Performing Arts and Dance.

Miss Elizabeth has previously performed in numerous pantomimes and shows and now is principal and dance teacher at Elizabeth Boardman School of Dance and Elizabeth Boardman Dance Company. Miss Elizabeth is first aid trained, DBS checked and a licensed chaperone with Peterborough City Council.

Miss Elizabeth is a certified Acrobatic Arts teacher and you can find our studios listed on the Acrobatic Arts website under ‘certifies studios’ in Cambridgeshire. www.acrobaticarts.com Miss Elizabeth is also a fully qualified British Theatre Dance Association (BTDA) teacher which is for exams in the following subjects; Classical Ballet, Modern Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Acro, Contemporary and Educational Freestyle.

Alongside the school Miss Elizabeth has a Dance Company for our school students who wish to push themselves that further who join a team and who have the option to do solos, duets, trios or quartets as well as their teams troupes. Miss Elizabeth’s has extensive experience and training in competitions as she competed as a child, has organised them and choreographs for them. Miss Elizabeth’s, award winning choreography, is seen at the competitions we go to along with our schools annual showcase at The Cresset Theatre which all our students have the opportunity to take part in.

Miss Elizabeth has known since the age of 9 years old what she wanted to do in her future and what her career would be. Miss Elizabeth opened her very own School and Dance Company in 2018 which has gone from strength to strength starting at just a few pupils back then to now with over 150 who take over 500 classes a week between them, now in our very own bespoke state of the art studio. The studio was created between Miss Elizabeth, her father Arthur and Mother Rona. We have a real family feel and ethos at our school and we have poured out hearts and souls into making the best space for our students to learn and thrive in.

Rona

Administrative Team

Along with Miss Elizabeth Rona is the heart of our dance school hard at work behind the scenes with the admin and running of the school. Rona is the welcoming and friendly face behind our reception that greets you when you come for your classes or rehearsals. Rona has been a part of the school since it was formed in 2018, she is also Miss Elizabeth’s mum. Rona has years and years of experience as a ‘dance mum’ from every day class drop off’s for Miss Elizabeth as a child, costume sorting, stage hair and make up, cheering Miss Elizabeth on throughout all her dance competition years – you name it she has done it! She is now a huge support and part of our school and dance company and we are very lucky to have her.

Rona gained an Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) at the School of Pharmacy, University of London. After qualifying she worked as a pharmacist until retiring in 2014. Along with her very successful pharmacy career she has a love of music beginning accordion lessons at the age of 6 and has been playing the piano since the age of 5. In the past Rona has taught both the accordion and piano when pharmacy work allowed. Now retired she loves being a part of the school and dance company along with being nanny to Edward, Jack and soon to be Baby B.

Miss Liv

Dance Teacher

We are thrilled to welcome Miss Liv to our teaching team from September! Miss Liv will be teaching on Mondays and Thursdays – jam packed evenings.

Miss Liv and Miss Elizabeth actually go way back from the days of their old childhood dance school together! Miss Elizabeth used to assist as a class assistant at her old dance school in Miss Liv’s classes when she was a dot!

Miss Liv will be teaching on Mondays and Thursdays at the studio. This is Acro, Street, Musical Theatre and Contemporary along with some of our Dance Company Teams! Miss Liv has had a passion for dance since she was little. Miss Liv trained and graduated from the prestigious Performers College.

Jo

Licensed Chaperone / Reception

Jo is one of our fully licences chaperones. You will find her helping backstage at shows and dance competitions also on our front reception desk welcoming students and parents to our school. Jo is also first aid trained. Jo’s two daughters also are a part of our Dance School, Dance Company and are both class assistants.
