About our
Dance Company
We have a youth Dance Company who compete all across the region in various competitions and performances. We have a team of over 50 committed dancers who compete in solos, duets and troupes! Our Dance Company have weekly rehearsals and classes for training. Here are a few comps and events we attend - Move It Shake It Comps around 5 a year (including GNC - Nationals!), Innovate Competition and Events (ICE - Open & Novice Comps), Starstruck (twice a year), CYD? Regionals and Super Convention, BTDA Open Comps, Young Performers (performance Opportunities), Jaides Stage Studio Festival and Troupe Days, The National Entertainments Awards Regionals and Finals at 02 in London and Dx Comp and Troupe Days.
Our successful dancers have won a variety of comps as soloists, in duets and as troupes gaining highest marks overall along with our comp pieces winning awards for Choreography and Performance. We have students that get spotted at CYD? Regionals and given shout outs and are invited for workshops.
Our Ethos - we are a very friendly Dance Company who encourage supporting one another along with other schools - after all we all love this industry and behavior like this makes it a better place for everyone! We have even won awards by comp organisers for our students behavior and professionalism as well as having a high reputation for this. Every competition we have attend, we have had compliments for our professionalism and kindness - we have even had other parents from other school personally message Miss Elizabeth to say how lovely our dancers were to their dancers!
